Pixel Ads. Is this type of advertising a good value for my money?

If you choose a larger paid ad our site makes your money go further than any other advertising you can spend it on. This form of advertising has generated a great deal of media attention, making it a great source of exposure for websites seeking to direct people to your site without costing you more money each subsequent visit. You can have a paid advert with link to your website and be seen by possibly millions of potential customers !. No other form of advertising can give you this degree of exposure for a very low investment.

Can I change my picture on the pixel grid or link url after I place my pixel ad image ?

We understand people change and advertising changes, especially over a period of several years. We would like you to be able to take full advantage of your money spent over the life time of your ad. To this end, we will allow you to update the image or link if necessary, (but not more then once, if everyone changed their ad a lot, we would never be able to keep the site running properly).

What size and type of images can I use ?

When uploading your images to me please make sure that they are either GIF or JPEG images and are of the appropriate size for the number of pixels you have purchased. For example a 10 X 10 pixel block is 100 pixels, 100 X 200 is 2000 pixels.

Why can't I buy one single pixel size pixel ad?

It's too small to be seen. It's just a single dot of color. The smallest graphic that is practical is the 10 X 10 block which is 100 pixels. You can buy as many pixels or blocks as you like, as long as there are some available (see the live stats in the top right corner of the page). When you buy pixels, you can then display an image/ad/logo of your choice in the space you have purchased. You can also have the image click through to your own website. No obscene or offensive images are allowed.

Why should I buy a pixel ad on your pixel grid?

At one dollar a pixel you can buy a pixel ad area for the size of a small thumbnail / banner ad size for a flat rate. It's not pay per click where you get charged a lot more for similar chances at quality exposure. This site is a great value for your advertising dollars. Secondly, you will have your paid advertisement and link to your home page in front of potentially millions of people on the first page indefinitely, that's guaranteed! Part of the first monies received from this site will be spent on establishing a secure series of servers and mirrors to properly display the site regardless of traffic. That's part of our promise to our customers. When you buy your blocks you are making a smart decision for your business and website exposure, we will monitor my site and maintain the integrity of the sites listed here. No obscene or offensive images are allowed nor are our links allowed to connect to any sites of this nature.

What is a Pixel?

It is short for Picture Element. Pixels are tiny squares of color, arranged in rows and columns and when combined together they produce an image on a computer screen. Everything you see on your monitor is displayed using pixels. It's the on-screen equivalent of a dot on a piece of paper. The grid containing our advertisements contains a total of one and a half million pixels (1,500,000). Each block contains 100 pixels
